Getting to Casa Clorinda
Campeche International Airport is only fifteen minutes away from Casa Clorinda. We recommend flying into Campeche if possible. Likely, you will need to fly into Mexico City International Airport to board a flight to Campeche. Private jets are permitted at Campeche airport.
The best alternative to flying into Campeche is to fly into Mérida International Airport. There are direct flights to Mérida daily from Houston, Dallas, and Miami. The trip from Merida to Casa Clorinda will take approximately 2 hours on a safe and well-paved highway.
Casa Clorinda does not include airport transportation in our rates. Taxi stands can be found inside both Campeche and Merida airports. Booking transportation inside of the airport terminal at a taxi stand is safe and easy. Transportation for large parties can be arranged to Casa Clorinda at an additional expense. Arrival and Departure Details
Upon arrival into Merida, you will clear immigration and customs before heading to the reception area of the airport, where you will be met by a Casa Clorinda representative. From there, you will be driven to Casa Clorinda in Campeche. If you are flying directly into Campeche, you will be minutes away from Casa Clorinda! Transfers to and from both airports are included in the Casa Clorinda fishing package.
All U.S. citizens are required to have a valid passport that does not expire within six (6) months of trip dates. Please be sure that your passport has at least two blank, unstamped pages remaining in the back, and that it is not torn, delaminated, or damaged in any way. No visas or inoculations are required for U.S. citizens. A Mexican departure tax is payable at the airport when leaving Mexico. Some airlines include this as a prepaid part of your ticket.

As of today, no proof of Covid-19 vaccine is required for visitors to Mexico. When returning to the United States, proof of a negative Covid test within 72 hours of departure will be required to board your flight. This can be obtained at a private clinic a few blocks from Casa Clorinda with minimal inconvenience. Should you test positive, quarantine will be required until you test negative.
